My Other Favorite Band!

Following the break-up of The Beatles, and after two solo albums (with vocals by wife Linda) in 1972, Paul put together a band, and named it Wings.  There were several different line ups of musicians, but the core of Wings was always Paul, Linda and Denny Lane.  The band reached its height in 1976 during the Wings Over America tour which played to large stadiums and arenas.  In 1980, following a "forced cancelation" of  a tour of Japan, Wings came to an end.  Paul, together with Linda continued recording albums, and after several years went out on tour again together with new musicians backing them.  Sadly, in 1997, Linda passed away from breast cancer.  Paul continues to tour and record.

Below is a Music video clip from the video of "Mull of Kintyre".
This is the song that you are hearing in the  background. When it was released in 1977, it
broke previous records in sales, and quickly shot
to the number 1 slot in the bill-boards and
remained there for a number of weeks.
